I was going to have a list of examples like:
There is a difference between the words "to" and "too".
There is a difference between the words "there" (location) and "their" (possessive).
It's "oops" not "opps" and "etc." not "ect."
"Your" (possessive) and "You're" (you are)
I was going to be sure to say something like: "Don't worry if you've committed** any or these errors, you're not the only one, I blame the school system."
But... I didn't want to sound like a snob... so nevermind.
Instead I'll post this picture taken by Kitty.
**Full disclosure: I originally spelled it "commited" but then I used spell check and fixed it. Contrary to popular belief, spell check works.

My friend has a book on her coffee table called, "I Judge You When You Use Poor Grammar: A Collection of Egregious Errors, Disconcerting Bloopers, and Other Linguistic Slip-Ups"
It's a family favorite.
my favorites are always made up words...like ... irregardless. like nails on a chalkboard...I do love the artful composition by Kitty! future photog on your hands my friend.
You crack me up.
so funny...I think I am one of those that accidentally uses the wrong words even though I know the rules!!! I blame it on time..just not enough of it these days :)
Oh, this post speaks to me. Improper grammar and spelling are serious pet peeves of mine. The ones that really hurt my ears are when people add letters to words, like "acrosst" and "drownding". *shudder*
uhhh, I don't mean to be rude, but your phrase "Don't worry if you've committed** any or these errors,..." should probably read "...any OF these errors,...".
Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.
I give you, Shay, and Emily permission to stop reading my blog.
