Etiquette lesson # 48

If you see someone shopping at the rack you want to look at-- be patient and look elsewhere until said person vacates the rack.  DO NOT invade their personal space and start looking at the same rack, slowly gaining on their progress until you are looking at the item next to them.  That is rude.

Along those same lines, DO NOT reach across or push through someone's personal space.  If you absolutely have to (like it's an emergency) then you should at least say "Excuse me."

The end.

...and if you're in a grocery store and you like what you see in someone (specifically MY) cart, do not just grab it and walk away. And if you must, at least say "thank you" for finding the item for you!

I have had to say, "I guess I'll come back when you're done..." to someone before.

Or if you are at the dental office and you are watching your children's teeth getting cleaned/filled PLEASE give the Dr and the staff space to work if you are sitting on their lap and or are in their personal space it makes it hard to do said work.
